Mantle length is 4.5 cm. Extremely venomous, tetrodotoxin venom produced in the salivary glands. Responsible for one human death (Ref. 96968). Occurs on intertidal and shallow rocky reefs. They are active at night and feed on small crustaceans. Hatchlings are benthic (Ref. 96968). |
