Environment:  pelagic; marine; depth range 0 - 900 m
Distribution:  Atlantic, Pacific Oceans and the Mediterranean: Japan, Chile, Algeria, Brazil, Canada and USA.
Diagnosis:  Body up to 1.3 cm long; with 4 flying buttresses, joining the basal corners of the oral aboral portions of the body.
