Shallow subtidal, at depths 0 to 2 m (Ref. 116127). Also occur on low to mid intertidal areas of moderately exposed shores. Found on rock pools and amongst algae beds. Associated with Ulva lactuca and Colpomenia sinuosa (Ref. 126194).
