Bell diameter measures 2-3 mm, rounded; mouth has 6 short oral arms with terminal nematocyst knobs; 6-7 gonads emerging from the center of the manubrium as elongated, rounded protrusions in a whorl; 9 unbranched radial canals and 9 marginal tentacles, each with 2-3 branches and a reddish ocellus at the base; thick and muscular velum (Ref. 2376).
Inhabits mud flats with Ulva sp.; more or less exposed at very low tide, attached to seaweeds; feeds on small crustaceans (Ref. 2376).
