Distribution:  Atlantic and Pacific Oceans: Canada, Ireland and USA.
Diagnosis:  Up to 3 cm wide. Basal attachment of stomach cruciform. With two pigmented spots in each of the gastric ostia. Having 20 tentacles.
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 116114. Bathypelagic (Ref. 19).
