Distribution:  Arctic and Northern Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Life span is about 15 months (Ref. 130135). An omnivore (Ref. 95728). It is found on silty sands (Ref. 96329) and hard bottom (Ref. 117453). In the Vainameri, north-eastern Baltic Sea, inhabits rocky substrates (Ref. 95753).
