Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 80 - 205 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Indonesia, Philippines and New Caledonia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on sandy or muddy sand bottoms among coral rubble. Usually encrusted with sponges on its shell surface (Ref. 101147). Dead shells found at depths of 134 to 557 m (Ref. 101153).
