Thin to thick encrusting: 0.5 - 2 cm thick. Bright orange to yellowish orange, externally and internally. The surface is conulose; transparent with scattered and membranous oscules. The consistency is very soft and limp (Ref. 415). |
Maximum thickness: 2 cm (Ref. 415). Maximum depth reported taken from Ref. 128739. It is common on mangrove roots; peat banks; and on shallow reefs habitats (Ref. 415). Inhabits coralline algae reefs, algal nodules, shallow coral reefs and mangroves (Ref. 128739). |
