Environment:  benthic; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from East Africa, Japan and Australia to Fiji.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Estuarine, soft substrate (Ref. 106854). Also found intertidal and shallow subtidal, on muddy substrates (Ref. 125642).
IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated (N.E.) Ref. 123251)
Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Known from Tai Tam Bay (Ref. 77636), Tolo Harbour, Tolo Channel, and Mirs Bay (Ref. 109414). Also known from western and southern Lantau Island, off Hong Kong Island, and Lamma Island (Ref. 125642). C: Refs. 77636, 10941, 125642; O: Ref. 107922.
