Comments At regular intervals, the Black Sea current takes Mnemiopsis leidyi to the northern Aegean Sea. Mnemiopsis leidyi was first recorded during late spring-summer 1990 in Saronikos Gulf, as well as in the neighboring, eutrophic Elefsis Bay (Shiganova et al.).
