This species occurs mainly on the shell of Batillaria multiformis on sandy and muddy sedimentary shores at mid-intertidal level on rocks, but can also be found on the shell of B. cumingii, on boulders and empty shells (Refs. 7989, 75835) (Ref. 7989).

Members of the order Patellogastropoda are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
