Minimum depth from Ref. 116065. Found in seagrass beds and a subtidal cliff (Ref. 1733); in harbours (Ref. 1661); pier pilings (Ref. 86424); grows directly over mangrove roots or other organisms such as solitary ascidians and oysters (Ref. 1758). Filter-feeder (Ref. 68823).
